I can't be a posting queen on this board because this board sucks!

Every time I click on a page or do anything, the page takes 5 minutes to load, and I am on a super fast DSL connection. Why am I the only person having problems with this? I would have stayed later to keep chatting yesterday, but I had to go home and take a nap to rest up for the next page to load.

Argh! Maybe I just need patience therapy.

    Dear eris,

How can I get some patience?

You know, you might want to check with admin about the speed thing. It might be something about your settings that's causing that problem. I'm on a dial up right now, and it doesn't take 5 minutes for pages to load. (usually). And it definately doesn't take that long when I'm the ethernet at work.

<font size="2" face="Comic sans ms, Helvetica, sans-serif">There definitely will be an extended edition -- you can pre-order both at amazon.com. Apparently it incorporates over 40 minutes of new material. They've been upfront about the fact that all three will have two versions, one preserving the theatrical release and one including things they had to cut to keep the running time down. None of that Special Edition! Oh, okay, here's the Ultimate Edition! But really, this is the Definitive Edition! stringing along.

And LOL over your manifestation of Gollum tendencies...

I was lucky enough to view the (leaked) ROTK trailer on TORn in the few hours it was up today before New Line politely asked them to take it down... I want more! I need more! *whine*

After watching the 1st LOTR, I went out and bought the book (the complete series) and read through all of it before Towers came out. It surprised me how obsessed with the story I've become (though even I didn't watch the DVD 5 times in a week. hmmmm.).

Yeah branflakes, there's no other movie where I've done something like that. It was always on the second showing and halfway through I'm bored to death.

Well, finished FotR now to get The Two Towers book AND The Return of the King. By the time I get back from Chicago, they should all ahve been read and finished... then to read it again? Hmmm maybe...

I've been tempted to read it again, but remind myself how massive it is to get through. I could always read Silmarillion...

Yeah, looking at the remaining two books, it is MASSIVE! Who is this J.R.R. Tolkien anyway? I she some kind of freak? Who writes that much anyway?

*looks towards his stack of papers with his own words*

    Oh yeah... nevermind.

*in a double posting act with a defiant attitude*

Oh and it mentioned my name in The Two Towers! "Dwimordene"
